Sustainable Packaging Policy

1. Policy Purpose

With industrial development, the quality of life has been improved and life patterns have changed. Accordingly, we need sincere activities to recognize that environmental problems of packaging materials are becoming serious, improve the safety and health of consumers, and hand down the inherited Earth to the next generation.

Considering the characteristics of the food industry where daily products such as food and beverages are manufactured, Pulmuone is carrying out an eco-friendly packing policy to hand down a healthy Earth to the next generations. In the stage of product development, we are striving to adopt efficient measures to develop eco-friendly materials.

 

2. Operational goals and plans

To achieve the virtual circle of packaging for sustainable Earth’s future where humans and nature coexist, we established the three sustainable packaging principles including the use of eco-friendly certified materials, eco-friendly recycling technology design, and plastic use reduction, setting up the sustainable eco-friendly packaging roadmap to develop and carry out.

Development of eco-friendly packaging materials

Pulmuone is promoting the development and commercialization of eco-friendly bio-based materials, such as expanding packaging materials that can reduce carbon emissions and developing detachable CAPs for light weight and easy recycling

 

 

 

Eco-friendly logistics innovation

Pulmuone strives to minimize environmental impact in the logistics process by adopting eco-friendly subsidiary materials for online logistics packaging and applying simple packaging.

MOU for Eco-friendly packaging and R&D

The packaging research team at the PIP Center under the Pulmuone Corporate Technology Office (CTO) establishes mid-to long-term goals and implementation strategies such as packaging material R&D and conversion of recycled packaging materials to expand Pulmuone's eco-friendly packaging materials Pulmuone signed an MOU with the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology to further strengthen carbon neutrality and ESG management in the food industry. We strive to achieve the common goal of developing innovative packaging for foods based on eco-friendly green packaging technology, eco-friendly packaging R&D and better sustainable packaging industry.
