In the case of stores directly managed by ORGA Whole Foods, they are actively deploying energy-saving facilities to minimize environmental impact caused during operation. For instance, over 80% of store lightings are LEDs certified for energy efficiency, and by ORGA franchise stores are equipped with inverter compressors enabling operation at a reduced speed, and glass door display refrigerators. Such efforts helped to lower energy consumption, better maintain freshness of foods, and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.

As ORGA’s directly managed stores and ECMD stores at rest stops belong to the service sector, where direct communication with stakeholders is possible, they are expected to amplify the impact of Pulmuone’s energy and water-saving campaigns.
