Pulmuone Animal Welfare Principles and Products

Pulmuone introduced the animal welfare concept in 2007 for the first time in Korea and animal welfare is set as one of the four core strategies. 

Collective efforts with contractors are essential to realizing the animal welfare strategy of Pulmuone. Regarding this, Pulmuone has established the principles on animal welfare and safe livestock products, striving to make sure that these principles are observed in the whole value chain.

Pulmuone is identifying the animal welfare certification of production farms and will expand our own audit and regular due diligence of contractors. In addition, we are providing assistance to make sure that poultry farms establish the European-style aviary. By doing so, we have been achieving a goal of transitioning to 100% animal welfare eggs by 2028.
