2025 Packaging Material Use and Percentage of Recycled/Certified Content

Pulmuone discloses the amount of each packaging material used and its recycled content percentage for the three types of packaging materials used in its business operations, as shown below.

1) Wood/paper fiber packaging: General cartons and aseptic cartons

2) Metal packaging (e.g., aluminum and steel): Steel cans with attached lids and aluminum cans

3) Glass packaging: Glass bottles with attached lid-and-ring closures

4) Based on the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment’s 2025 Mandatory Recycling Rates by Product and Packaging Material.

The “percentage of recycled content in total packaging materials used” for metal, glass, and paper packaging does not represent the actual recycled content of these materials. As detailed data on recycled content are not directly available for packaging sourced through contract manufacturing partners, the mandatory recycling rates for products and packaging materials announced annually by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment under the Act on the Promotion of Saving and Recycling of Resources are used as a proxy. The mandatory recycling rate represents the proportion of products and packaging materials placed on the market that producers subject to recycling obligations are required to recycle.
