Pulmuone newly established a value scheme titled, “Passion with TISO,” by combining TISO (Trust, Integrity, Solidarity, Openness) that represents previous core values, with HOPE (Honesty & Integrity, One-firm spirit, Professionalism, Enthusiasm), which embodies core competencies. There were concerns that employees may be confused as TISO and HOPE sometimes express similar concepts using different words. Also, considering global standards, it was deemed to be better to combine the core values and competencies to keep them simple. Taking these factors into consideration, efforts have been made to integrate the two, and the new value scheme was established. 

 

To Pulmuone, which strives to grow into a knowledge company, TISO continues to be the core value in the new scheme as it serves as social capital in the knowledge society. On top of this, “the passion based on professional knowledge” is added as the core competency necessary for all company members. As a result, the refurbished value scheme was established as “Passion with TISO,” incorporating the elements embedded in HOPE. 

The core value course for new hires was modified to reflect the new value scheme, and 128 new entrants have finished the course thus far.
