Review in conjunction with Global Nutrition Standards


In addition to its internal standards(Pulmuone’s Nutrition Standards), Pulmuone is expanding products that apply Nutri-Score, a global nutrition standards. Nutri-Score was devised in France and is applied to products in the European market. The purpose of Nutri-Score Labeling is to enable consumers to easily understand nutrition quality, compare products briefly by grade, and improve the nutritional level of products. With the expansion of the global market, some products are being preliminarily evaluated as Nutri-Score, and the number of A or B grade is increasing from 25 products in 2021, 40 in 2022, 54 in 2023 to 73 products in 2024. Examples of products are tofu, natto, bean sprouts, tofu noodles, and cooked eggs.

 

 

 

 

 

Products for Nutritionally vulnerable group and Packaging design for Proper amount intake

 

Pulmuone operates a product brand that reflects nutrition for infants, children, seniors and patients(diabetes, etc.). It is offered as a meal product to the underprivileged group and can also be purchased individually.

It also reduces excessive intake of ‘sugars, sodium, saturated fat' and considers intake of nutritionally vulnerable group. As an example of product packaging design for proper intake, Pulmuone plan to operate and expand a small-sized packaging category for infants.
