Pulmuone introduces a new venue that offers fun and education called, “Wholesome Foods School,” in ”KidZania,” a role-playing theme park for children.

Pulmuone (CEO Nam, Seung-Woo) announced on May 17, 2017 that the renovated Wholesome Foods School in KidZania Seoul opened for children to easily learn about wholesome foods while having fun.

At the renewed Wholesome Foods School, an experience zone was established so that children can make cookies using “Fresh Toy Cookie Making Kit,” and try being “fooducators (food + educator),” who are wholesome foods educators.

The Fresh Toy Cookie Making Kit is a new cookie-making brand Pulmuone Foods released in February with a creative concept of “edible toys.” Not only is it fun, but it has high educational values, so the product is gaining popularity among parents and preschoolers.

The Wholesome Foods School opens the maximum of 17 times per day (8 children per round / 35 minutes).

Children dress up as fooducators by wearing uniforms when participating, and they receive fooducator certificates upon completion of the sessions.

When making the cookies, they knead dough as if they are playing with playdough, and they get to learn how to check food labels and think about food ingredients when baking the cookies in ovens.

In particular, the process of kneading the dough that come in six different colors made with natural materials contributes to developing children’s sense of touch, aesthetic, and creativity. Once the school ends, they are allowed to pack the cookies they made.

The interior of the school has been refurbished as a baking studio. Considering children’s growth development, marble tables, ovens, and the sinks are installed at lower heights. These encourage the children to get actively engaged and feel a greater sense of achievement.

KidZania is a global role-playing theme park for children to experience various occupations such as cooks, police officers, teachers, firefighters, etc. In Korea, KidZania has branches in Seoul (Lotte World Mall at Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul), and Busan (Shinsegae Centum City Mall at Haeundae-gu, Busan), and they attract over 700,000 visitors annually.

Kim, Hyo-Sil from Brand Team in Brand Management Office mentioned, “The newly-renovated Wholesome Foods School provides cookie-making experience using Fresh Toy Cookie Making Kit, which is popular among preschoolers, so that children can have fun and learn at the same time. While enjoying making and eating cookies made with natural ingredients, children are able to understand what wholesome foods are and build healthy dietary habits.”
