The Partners Day, celebrating the 11th event this year, has been an opportunity for Pulmuone to invite its partners to express its gratitude, encourage partners, and share business direction and vision to reaffirm the commitment to win-win collaboration.

Since 2007, Pulmuone held the meeting for inclusive growth every year to deepen the trust and facilitate communication with its partner companies.

This year’s theme was “Pulmuone, Together with Business Partners.”

The event consisted of a presentation from Mr. Lee on future direction, awarding ceremony for excellent partners, and a lecture from Peter Underwood (Won, Han-Seok), a senior partner of International Research & Consulting (IRC).

The CEO of Pulmuone Foods spoke on the topic of “Collaboration and Communication with Business Partners,” while explaining the direction for Pulmuone and partner companies in 2017, and how to foster a healthy business ecosystem with competitive edge.

He stated, “The sturdy partnership with business partners was the firm foundation for Pulmuone to enjoy continued growth, and become a small yet strong business despite the sluggish economic growth,” and added by saying that, “Pulmuone will do its best to facilitate collaboration and communication with its partner companies, and nurture a sound business environment for both Pulmuone and the partners to make growth this year.”

To this end, Mr. Lee highlighted close cooperation between Pulmuone and the partner companies, and proposed three methods for win-win collaboration: ▲conducting fair trade, ▲supplying wholesome food products, and ▲ further sharing results.

In addition, Pulmuone expressed its gratitude and further encouraged the partners by awarding plaques of appreciation and prize money to 11 companies (Jung-won Foods, Dayoung Food, Green Life Global Food, EDEN Food Service, Donghae Foods, Seoshin Food, Woochun Foods, Pruon, Green Nongsan, National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, and Hypork) for exceling in five categories of ▲ contribution to new product development, ▲technology innovation, ▲ quality innovation, ▲environment safety, and ▲ B to B transaction.

Following the awarding ceremony, Mr. Underwood, a senior partner of the IRC, gave a special lecture on “Establishing Creative Business Environment through Pulmuone and Business Partners’ Innovation and Future Direction.”
Mr. Underwood is a business consultant working in Korea and the author of “FIRST MOVER.”

The event also had a meaningful performance of a choir made up of children from multicultural families called “Rainbow Chorus,” reminding the attendees on the spirit of “loving our neighbors,” and “respecting life.”
As a means to practice the spirit, Pulmuone and six business partners donated 3,500 wholesome food products, such as Nature is Delicious, tofu, dumplings, and tteok-bokki (spicy stir-fried rice cake), to Good Neighbors, a social welfare corporation. The products will be delivered to over 200 children in low-income families.
